Transformative Care for Body and Mind

Explore an integrated approach to wellness that recognizes the interplay between physical and emotional well-being. Enliven Health offers a compassionate and skilled environment for those facing chronic pain, mental health struggles, or both. Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, acknowledging the profound impact of life experiences—from physical injuries to childhood upbringing—on how we feel, carry ourselves, and navigate life. Enliven Health offers myoActivation®-a structured approach to identifying and treating sources of chronic pain- and somatic-based therapy, which provides a space to explore emotions and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and ease. Whether you’re seeking myoActivation®, therapy, or both, the goal is simple: to help you feel more enlivened.

Your Path to Resolving Chronic Pain

Injuries, surgeries, and trauma can all affect how your body moves and sometimes lead to chronic pain. Even seemingly inconsequential scars can distort tissues resulting in restriction or pain, distant from where the scar is located.

myoActivation® is a methodology used to assess and treat chronic pain and mobility impairment. Using specialized needling techniques to activate muscles in sustained contraction, relax fascia in tension, and release relevant scars, myoActivation aims to resolve pain and improve movement and wellbeing.

From body pain and headaches to TMJ issues and post-concussion symptoms, if you're struggling with persistent symptoms and feel like you’ve already tried everything, myoActivation may be your path back to a more comfortable and active life.

Emotions are seen as guiding lights and behaviors as adaptive responses, taking a non-pathologizing approach to understanding mental health symptoms. Embark on a journey of self-discovery, where the wisdom of the body becomes a powerful ally in your quest for ease and fulfillment.

BScN, MN, NP(f), YTT500

I'm a Nurse Practitioner with 10+ years of experience in primary care and additional training in psychotherapy and myoActivation®. Driven by a deep curiosity of the interconnection between body and mind, I believe profound healing can happen through somatic-based approaches, and relationally. My practice is guided by a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework. Just as trauma is held in the body so too is our capacity to heal. It’s an honour to meet people along the journey.

What people are saying

I saw Sarah for neck and shoulder pain that had been giving me problems for months. Although I have a nervous reluctance around needles, Sarah made the process feel non-intimidating and well informed.
I felt an immediate improvement in range of motion and a decrease in pain and discomfort after her treatment, and over the following days the effects continued to improve. Myoactivation has been one of the most effective things I have experienced for persistent chronic muscle tension and longer lasting results. I highly recommend giving it a try!
